During these past couple of years, I have come to better understand how I have been complicit in the system. As an artist it is my job to work from a place of empathy. I am constantly learning and changing my opinions and this period of time forced me to take a hard look at myself and my shortcomings when it comes to advocating for those who do not have the same privilege as me. It is my job as a White person to educate myself on how to be a better ally. The following links are very informative and important to me as not only an Artist, but as a Human.
